We were really impressed with the spacious and well-decorated deluxe room we stayed in. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and there was even a small fridge and mini bar. The beach, just a short walk from the pool, offered a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and offered us a fair deal on our room, as well as great advice for the rest of our trip. The breakfast had a good variety of options, including freshly made omelettes, baked goods, and fruit. we had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel.

That the diving center at the hotel offered tours to Pigeon Island at an inflated price. the bathrooms could do with some upgrading, although they were still clean.

our second stay in Nilaveli, and Pigeon Island Beach Resort impressed us once again. The staff were excellent, quickly resolving any issues. We loved the food and the beautiful beach. A truly excellent stay!

I recently stayed at Pigeon Island Beach Resort for 2 nights with my family. The location is unbeatable, with a pristine beach right in front of the hotel. The staff was exceptional, ensuring our room was well-cleaned every day. The restaurant offered delightful meals, and the chef even went beyond the menu to make personalized dishes. The pool was fantastic, with monkeys playing nearby and a stunning view of the sea. great value for money and a place I would stay at again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms were big and clean. The food in the restaurant was very nice and the staff was very friendly. Hotel was right at the beach and the beach was nice and clean. We went there for diving and the hotel was in walking distance from the diving shop we used.

Pool wasn't the greatest but it was ok. No beer in the minibar.

The hotel had a decent location near a nice beach and had friendly staff. The rooms were large and had functional furniture and clean linen. AC was easy to use and kept the room comfortable. the hotel had a good variety of breakfast dishes and a huge dessert buffet. The staff were always ready to cater to guests' needs, such as keeping the pool and beach areas clean and attending to guests' needs immediately.

The hotel has some basic facilities that do not work properly, such as the plumbing, locks, and internet.

Excellent service, fantastic buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner, good pool. right on the empty beach!

Nice sandy beach. Can enjoy sun rise & sun set. But little expensive compare to same class of hotels.

We had an amazing time at Pigeon Island Beach Resort! The staff, Mr Sisira and Mr Premachandra, were outstanding and ensured we had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, with easy access to the stunning Pigeon Island for diving and snorkeling. The friendly restaurant and pool staff, along with the beautiful beach and peaceful atmosphere, made our stay truly enjoyable.

The venue was amazing, quiet and secluded with a lovely beach.The staff were very friendly, warm and helpful making you feel like home. The manager was also very helpful and communicative.The hotel was very clean. The ambiance was relaxing and very positive.The breakfast was nice and the food tasty. The bar was our favorite place and very connected to nature. We were there for 8 days so it definitely was a great experience.

It was only one guest who created a big ruckus for all of us, guests as well as hotel staff. But the staff handled it very well and had him check out the very next morning.

rooms were quoted as deluxe but more suited to a standard room and none overlooking the sea apart from the suites. Standard size rooms. website gives wrong impression. Not value for money compared to other hotels of similar standard in the country. When coming to pay we wanted to use some US$ but hotel accountant gave us an extremely bad conversion rate and also charged 3.5% on top which given the fact that we had stayed 7 nights and spent a lot of money, thought was way over the top. He was also extremely rude and the staff were embarrassed in front of him. The Manager is also starting to build an eco hotel near Kantale, but is clearing the jungle and putting up electric fences to keep out elephants from their natural migration routes, so I don't think eco comes into it!
